Dentist, PhD bioinformatician and healthcare manager — one person, three vantage points.

    Semmelweis University — student research & teaching Student research in bioinformatics (building protein networks, motif finding); co-author of 3 peer-reviewed papers. Taught physiology and pathophysiology to nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy and dietetics students.

    Doctor of Dentistry, cum laude Semmelweis University, Budapest. Thesis: “The effect of antibacterial agents on oral health” — their effects and limits for prevention and clinical practice. Thesis (PDF)

    PhD student, King's College London Molecular cell biology — cell-size regulation of T cells in vitro; international conferences, posters.

    Fondazione Edmund Mach, Italy — researcher Knock-out studies of candidate cell-size genes in Arabidopsis using wet-lab methods; international collaboration linked to my PhD.

    Foundation for Hungarian Doctors — supervisory board member The foundation supports the work and community of Hungarian physicians. As a member of its supervisory board, I help oversee the organisation's transparent, compliant operation.

    National Collegial Lead for Dentistry As the national collegial professional lead for dentistry, I serve as a link between healthcare governance and practising dentists. My task is to support the enforcement of professional guidelines and the quality of care at national level.
