Health policy

I completed a Healthcare Manager MSc at Semmelweis University; my specialty is dental financing, which was also the subject of my thesis. I have worked in several working groups on dental financing.

In the Hungarian Medical Chamber I am a territorial and national delegate and an officer of the National Supervisory Committee. I had a role in founding the ‘Reset’ group (2019). As a member of Szombathely's Health Committee I represent local dental primary care.

In 2026, at the request of State Secretary Dr. Krisztina Porpáczy, I accepted the role of national collegial professional leader for dentistry. The situation allows no further delay: the oral health of Hungarians is disheartening even by European comparison, current financing often does not cover even the direct material costs of treatment, more than 250 practices are vacant, and more than seven hundred thousand people have no stable primary-care dentist — the state of children's and school dentistry is especially pressing, and national dental emergency care is faltering in several counties. My predecessor, Dr. Róbert Gszelmann, was the first to hold this post, and it is thanks to him that dental primary care gained direct representation in decision-making. I am continuing the work he began, with the firm intention of giving dental advocacy an even stronger voice — and for that I ask for the support and active involvement of every fellow dentist.
